About

I am Hayley, the founder of Funfetti parties.
I have been dancing for 21 years and have formal qualifications in ballet from the Royal Academy of Dance and a degree in Dance from the University of Wolverhampton. I would like to use my knowledge and experience to create fun memories at children’s parties.

Live well, Express, Inspire
I am a strong advocate for Dance having many physical and mental benefits and wrote my dissertation on how dance can impact the brain as we develop. Dance not only contributes to physical well-being such as calorie burning, concentration, coordination, balance and agility But Dance also helps you keep mentally healthy. Dance boosts your mood, benefits cognitive development , challenges your brain and is fun. Dance is also extremely social and inclusive as long as you can move even if it’s only part of your body, you can dance.

Crafting for children can develop fine motor skills, improves dexterity, improves hand eye coordination, boosts self esteem, encourages self expression, helps in socialising, promotes innovation and creativity, enhances decision making skills, improves memory and helps children with problem solving and thinking creatively.

I am passionate about inspiring the next generation of creative and healthy people and always knew I wanted to teach.
I went to university to get a degree in Dance Education allowing me to learn Dance pedagogy and Dance history. I transferred to University of Wolverhampton to continue my studies in dance giving me more training in Dance film, Dance science and choreography.

I have taught at many different settings including private ballet schools during summer clubs where I had to choreograph and teach a dance relating to a theme children also make costumes to coincide with the dance allowing me to develop my skills and ideas in crafts and costumes making
